Seller Guidelines
A quick guide to registering, listing, and selling on Pak Lifters.
1. Registering Your Shop
- Go to Register as Seller and fill in your shop name, owner name, phone, email, and city.
- Verify your email with the 6-digit code we send you.
- Your shop is now "Pending Verification" — our team reviews new shops within 48 hours.
- Once approved, you can start listing equipment right away.
2. What Gets Approved Faster
- A real shop/owner name (not placeholder text).
- A valid, reachable phone number.
- Accurate city — this is how buyers filter listings near them.
3. Creating a Good Listing
- Clear title — include brand, model, and key spec, e.g. "Toyota 3 Ton Diesel Forklift".
- Real photos — upload actual photos of the equipment, from multiple angles. Listings with clear photos get more inquiries.
- Accurate condition — mark equipment honestly as New or Used.
- Size / Capacity — fill this in with real specs (e.g. "3 Ton", "12m Reach") so buyers can filter accurately.
- Fair pricing — set a realistic price; you can list an "old price" to show a discount.
- Full description — include hours used, maintenance history, and anything a buyer would want to know.
4. Listing Review
Every new listing — and every edit to price, title, or key specs — goes through admin review before it's visible to buyers. This usually takes a short while. You'll see the status change from "Pending" to "Verified" on your My Products page, and get a notification either way.
5. Talking to Buyers
- Buyers can reach you via Chat or Call directly from your listing.
- Our chat automatically hides phone numbers and addresses shared in messages — this is a safety feature for both sides.
- Respond promptly — buyers are more likely to follow through with sellers who reply quickly.
6. Growing Your Reach
- Number Display — request to have your phone number shown publicly on your listings, subject to admin approval.
- Sponsored Ads — pay to have a listing appear near the top of search results for a set period, subject to admin approval.
7. Staying in Good Standing
- List only equipment you own or are authorized to sell, with honest descriptions.
- Keep your quantity and availability up to date.
- Renew listings before they expire (30 days) to keep them visible.
- Accounts that violate our Terms of Service may be suspended.
